Very cute book, awesome ideas. Be careful when you bake the chocolate chip cookies, there is a misprint. Ours came out VERY salty and after watching Ro's video, we realized the book calls for salted butter and 2 teaspoons baking soda (it should be 1 teaspoon according to the video and the butter was not specified so maybe try unsalted butter).

I ordered this for my 12 year old daughter and she cried tears of joy when it came! This book is AMAZING!!! Rosanna Pansino you have knocked this out of the park! My daughter is also a visual learning and this book has so many great step by step photographs! Every Recipe has 6 photographs. There are templates, a list of all the tools you need, and it's easy to read. You will NOT be disappointed, as my daughter said she could look at this book for hours and we can't wait to try out the lava cake for her 12th birthday! We are looking forward to having her book signed at the event hear in Orlando next week. Thank you for encouraging my daughter to keep baking! One happy Mommy here!

My 12 year old sister loves to watch Nerdy Nummies on YouTube all the time. She got me hooked, and most of the time, I put off studying for my college lectures to watch Ro bake! This will be her Christmas present, and cannot wait! There are some really sweet recipes in this cookbook and anyone of any skill level can bake them! This is a fantastic and well done cookbook Ro! Excellent book for micro economics, from intermediate to advanced level, allows for excellent undersatnding although as some point out in other reviews it can be at times complicated, but so is the nature of the subject it explains. In use with an additional text covering the more theoretical approach it is key to understanding the analytical part of microeconomics. A parallel could be established to some extent to Alpha Chiang's Fundamental Methods of Mathematical Economics.

Cant wait to read more about the boys in Devil's Share!! Great first book in a new rock star series!

I received a copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads

Absolutely enjoyed this first in a new series!! Rock star romance at it's best! With a sexy as sin Dash as the lead singer. Leading lady, Lexy, the bands new drummer's best old friend a photographer asked to join the tour to take some candid pictures at Dash's insistence. He finds her someone he cant just let walk away! The almost love triangle dynamic between old friends Lex and Luke, and Dash make for some fun banter back and forth between the 3 of them. Great jealous possessiveness by Dash, the rock God who has found himself trying to woo a woman for the first time in far too long. I found the book fun & funny with a decent dose of drama, action and steam. L.P. Maxa's writing voice was easy to read and the story kept me engaged until the very end (sort of end? end-ish?). I'd definitely love to hear more from the boys in Devil's Share and look forward to the next book. Maxa gives us well written side characters that kept me intrigued about their own pasts and wanting to know about their futures. I think this series will be very fun to read! Highly recommend to anyone who likes reading Michelle Valentine or Olivia Cunning (two of my favorites)!

Love sexy rock star books, especially ones without all the groupie drama. Lex boards a rock star bus and her future becomes a bit more clear as she spends time with Dash the lead singer. I enjoyed the romance from the start that bloomed between Dash and Lexie. This group seems a bit playful and less manwhorish than most rocker books. I enjoyed meeting all the members and the drama they created. Four stars of entertainment!

Play Nice is my new favorite book. I fell in LOVE with all of the characters and never wanted the book to end.
LP Maxa keeps amazing me with her work. From St. Leasing to the Devil's Share series, I have become LP's biggest fan.
I NEVER wanted this book to end... now I cannot wait for the next book in this amazing series.
HIGHLY recommended... actually... I insist on everyone reading this book. If you like romance and rock & roll... you will love it!

Precisely what it claims to be

This book is precisely what it claims to be: a collection of 4 IELTS tests with answers. There is no CD-ROM (so if you want to do the listening part you need to also purchase the CD).

In other words, there are no grammatical rules explained, no ramping-up activities, no tips for the actual test, and no strategies on how to optimize the performance in the 4 parts of the test. For all these reasons, this book is absolutely not enough for passing the actual exam.

Even if your grammar is stellar (and you need no book about it) and your listening skills are wonderful (and you need no CD-ROM), you will still need to learn the best strategies in that the IELTS exam format places *heavy* time constraints on you! I suggest "Action plan for IELTS" for finding some neat strategies.

Furthermore, I find the tips inside "Step up to IELTS" just great. A student needs to know (for example) that, as far as what the IELTS examiners are after, it is better to try to use a complex sentence and fail at it than write/speak in simple sentences.

King of elephants, knave of theory

My two year old son loves the pictures in this book, especially the giant blue whale and the tan camels. But don't take it too seriously as an introduction to mixing color. Babar may be king of the elephants but as a color theorist, he's a lightweight. Babar tells us that mixing the three primary colors makes black. Then, a few pages later, he tells us that to make brown you have to mix the three primary colors PLUS black. What? But I thought... Also strange--the "what will you paint with white?" illustration done in ice blue and every color BUT white. The problem isn't the contradictions but the fact that De Brunhoff sets himself up with the difficult task of bridging color theory, practice, and artistic convention in less than 30 pages. In a children's book! But kids will probably like the bright, clean illustrations. Also odd (in a non-color mixing way)--the page where Flora, Babar's elephant daughter, paints a herd of ten naked elephants.

Fun even for "non-Babar" fans!

Even if you're not a Babar fan, you should seriously consider this over-sized book filled with vibrant illustrations. It's a fun introduction on how mixing two or more colors can create a whole new color. And yes (as the other reviewer correctly points out) some of the suggested mixing formulas aren't likely to produce the same outcome as the book would suggest, but hey, this is Babar's Book of Color afterall... not Isaac Newton's theory of color.
