I enjoyed this book and had a hard time getting up a couple of mornings , do to late nite reading and not wanting to put the book down...I like the fact that you can read one situation seeing it from how Sherrelle experience it, into a rewind of the same situation but now throu Marlin's eyes...every sex scene had me hot...And if this book was to become a movie...wouldn't Katt Williams play the perfect Dahji???

This novel, started off slowly introducing us to the main characters,Marlin the injured pro-fotballer and his sexy unfufilled neighbour Sherrelle(did I mention she's married) and a host of naughty supporting characters Peaches her pole riding best friend who is all about her paper and Duji a thirsty sport agent with a hidden life and secret agenda .The story really gets going when Sherelle stumbles on Marlin sexin his cold,calculating wif e.This book had me turning pages and laughing loud at some of the madness they got themselves into. The story, races from there into a whirlwind of passion,deception and shocking revelations leaving you hot bothered and waiting for part two!The church -lady cover didn't do it for me but if you like well written erotica BE SURE TO GET "A NEIGHBOURLY AFFAIR"!!

This book turned out to be much better than I'd thought. Unfortunately, I don't think it's doing as well as it should. I've spoken to other readers who also enjoy the book and feel that the cover and the synopsis is the reason why many people are not buying it.

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys something erotic and a good laugh.

This is the best diet book I’ve read so far

This is the best diet book I’ve read so far. I learned that it’s possible that you can have a high carb day and low carb day. As far as I know when you in a diet program you need to avoid first the carbs food. But in this program they allow you to take both high and low carbs food without side-effects in one week. It also has a training program for those who are not into a carb cycling. And explains well why we need to do this and that. You need to play high and low carbs day to adjust your body need.
Recipes are all good and look delicious. Thumbs up to the author.

About the Author
D. Jeff Burton (BS, MS, PE) has degrees in mechanical engineering and occupational health. Since 1974 he has participated in hundreds of ventilation design and evaluation projects.

Author of many articles and texts on the subject, Burton is also a member of ASHRAE, ASSE, SSA, ACGIH, and is a Past President of AIHA. He has served on the ACGIH Industrial Ventilation Committee and the ANSI Z9.5 Subcommittee on Lab Ventilation. He was an adjunct Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Utah for over two decades.

E-Book Version 1 Star - Author & Good Books Publishing PLEASE FIX

Great recipes - all the other reviews show that - the 1 stars is because of the Navigation experience of this e-book version which they sell. It's obvious no one at that publisher tried to ever "really" use this book in any kind of e-book reader device or tablet.

Unlike a real dead tree book which you can quickly thumb through and stop at a glance and continue until you find something you're looking for, on the e-book you can't do that in no easy way. You more or less have to go through each page looking for the recipes you want - 1400 OF THEM! Seriously!! The table of context of the E-book is set up in section - Beef, Pork, Chicken, things like that, but within those sections there are hundreds of recipes - which means you still have to go through them each one at a time. It's just a bad joke.

I use digital readers, and tablets for all my reading material becauses it is light to carry with me all the time when I need or want them. In the case with a recipe book it's great to have with you when you go shopping so you can make sure you buy all the ingredients you need for any recipe you decide on or, when you change your mind at the last minute. Of course you can set up something like bookmarks in the digital book reader for the recipes you want to save and use again, but finding those recipes in the first place is pretty much a horrible experience. LETS FACE IT, in the modern digital age where paper isn't being wasted there is no reason why the table of context of this book shouldn't have a collapsable table of context of the name of each recipe listed with a link to that page of the recipe in this ebook! (HINT HINT - ARE YOU LISTENING PHYLLIS PELLMAN GOOD & GOOD BOOKS PUBLISHING?) It would make all the difference in using this recipe book in a digital reader as a functional tool in everyday real life. Please consider making such changes - and this recipe book would easily be a 10 star book in a 5 star rating!

A little disappointed

When I saw that this cookbook had 1,400 recipes, I thought "HOW AMAZING!". When I rec'd the cookbook, however, I was quickly disappointed. While it, is helpful to see a suggested size of crock pot for each recipe, it is somewhat disappointing that many of the recipes call for Crock Pot inserts. They are pans designed to fit inside of your crock pot and we don't own any of those. The crock pot insert substitute they offer, is using a metal coffee container. I dont think I would enjoy placing something like that in my crock pot, it just seems so odd. Additionally, some of the recipes are extremely repetitive. I don't think a cook book needs 30 variations on how to make queso, for example, when really the ingredient variation is so slight, it should not call for an entirely new recipe. I also think that many of the recipes are, well, for lack of better words,lame. For example, there is a soup recipe that calls for a can of V-8 juice, a cup of chicken broth and a can of green beans. I thought it was a little odd that something like that would even count as a real recipe. There are many more examples of things like that as well, but I don't have time to write them all in this review!

At any rate, I think that if you are an experienced cook, or crock pot user, you would find the majority of this cook book a little juvenile. However, for someone who is not as experienced in cooking, they would probably enjoy it more. If you don't have cooking inserts for your crock pot, there are many recipes you won't be able to use, so I would remember to take that into consideration as well.

Kindle edition does not have a searchable table of contents. Extremely awkward to use. Looks like good recipes but so hard to find them. Index is by ingredient. Badly needs index for individual recipes in each category. PLEASE CREATE A FIX!

Add to your collection of race car books

The chassis is the most important thing in a race car. Without it there would be no base for the engine, no mounting for the suspensions, etc. If you are interested in actual race car design this is a great book to read and familiarize yourself with modern designs of race cars. I like that they concentrate different chapters on different types of racing. I wish they had included rally design as that is an entirely different monster and has been around since this book was published.

High teck metals old car photos nd basic car designs I got very little from this book

Probably my mistake buying this book.
I was looking for a book that would give me spicifics on short track asphalt race car chassis.
This book gives a bunch of high teck stuff that only a structural engineer would be interested on some high dollar F1 team.

The down to earth basic stuff I was looking for like exact demensions and mountig points for control arms and spring perches-
was not in this book. At least not in a way that I could understand.

I buy a lot of books on race cars because I am an information junkie when it comes to building American short track race cars.
What I have been finding in most of the books I buy is mostly information that was common back in the 1970`s.

Example; I still have a soft cover book by Steve Smith that I purchased in about 1978. Most of the info I get from current books appear to be a re hash of the information in Steves Book. I have yet to find one chassis book that shows blue prints on how to build chassis for a spicific function. Example of spicific function would be a design for building a chassis that is known to work very well in a fifth mile asphalt race track. Or one that will work well on a half mile race track. What these authors are selling are mostly basic design and theroy. Not one sticks his neck out and says to take two pieces of 2x 3 in. tubing 6 ft long and join the ends with two pieces of 2x3 tubing 2.5 ft long, then add 3 cross beaces so many ft apart. In other words I have yet to find a chassi book that gives blue prints on chassis.

Good Reference for FSAE Students

I used this book as a reference when designing a student FSAE car in college. It is not as good Chassis Engineering by Herb Adams, but I personally believe both books are required for a complete library. and both books are under $20, a mere penance for what you will learn about race car structures!

Coming from someone who likes words and has the ability to find pleasure from just opening the dictionary or thesaurus and reading it for relaxation, it is a great dictionary. Furthermore, it's for the person who wants a nice, hefty dictionary that actually has EVERY word that you'd need. I found it a champion for those words that you pass in everyday life and just pinch you to walk over to the shelf to look them up. This dictionary is also very easy to understand, it's authoritative, direct and resolute. Oxford truly does provde the concrete foundation of the english language. Be warned that it is not huge in size--if that matters, but it is FULL of words in a small space with MEDIUM print size that is clear and bold.
In short, don't be fooled by its marketing as a paperback, it's CHEEPER than a forty dollar oldie that taxes you your verticle space, and suits people with poor sight.

Excellent dictionary. Print is readable and it's easy to carry around your backpack or bag. Great for looking up references on the go. Highly recommended. Great price.

Newspaper like quality pages. Naturally moist thumbs when dragged hard enough will smear the ink. When flipping the pages the chemicals of the ink get stuck between your nostrils for some time. And though your fingers don't get smudged, the smell gets stuck on your fingers as well.

Oh but the information is wonderful.

Keep in mind this is the British English version, which replaces words like diarrhea with "diarrhoea"
